For the #geomorphmapcontest no. 4 theme of #tomb - (http://inkwellideas.com/2015/05/early-tomb-geomorphmapcontest-entries/) - In the abyssal depths a lone earth servant stumbled upon a wondrous geode of magically infused rock. Breaking into the core the servant, and its kin, discovered a great yellow-blue crystal hovering in the center. They sensed something entombed within but dare not break its seals.

For the #geomorphmapcontest no. 4 theme of #tomb - (http://inkwellideas.com/2015/05/shrine-geomorphmapcontest-winners/) - the Ziggurat of Ah-kata-ton the Corpulent, fond of ostentatious presentations during and after life (his spirit continues to appear atop his tomb, in full regalia, to this day).

Inkwell Ideas has continued the theme with a third contest (http://inkwellideas.com/2015/05/initial-shrine-geomorphmapcontest-entries/ ) with the theme of shrine. (Entries are due by May 18th.)
My two entries, returning to the surface world, are the "Shrine of the Eastern Wind" and the "Shrine of the Western Seas."
Playing around, again, with multi-level geomorphs with paths in non-standard forms (walkways and docks for example).
